Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Chat to Office handles information when you use the website, browser extension, and billing services.
Conversation content
When you request an export, the extension may read the selected AI response, question and answer, or conversation from the supported page. It may process text, titles, tables, code, links, citations, images, page URL, and platform name as needed to create the document. Parsing, preview, formatting, and file generation happen locally in your browser. Conversation content is not uploaded to the developer's servers.
Local extension data
The extension may store preferences, export options, language, temporary job state, daily usage counts, and an installation identifier in browser extension storage. This information supports the requested features, plan limits, and billing status. You can remove local data by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.
Billing and subscription data
If you choose Pro, checkout and payment are handled by Creem as merchant of record. Chat to Office may receive and store limited transaction metadata needed to activate and maintain access, such as an installation identifier, plan, product identifier, customer identifier, subscription identifier, subscription status, and billing-period end date. The developer does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Creem processes payment and related information under its own privacy terms.
Website data
The public website does not use advertising trackers or behavioral profiling. Cloudflare hosts the website and may process standard network and security information, such as IP address, request time, and user-agent data, to deliver and protect the site.
Sharing and sale
The developer does not sell or rent personal information or conversation content. Limited information is shared only with service providers where necessary to deliver hosting, security, payment, subscription, or support functions, or where required by law.
Retention and security
Billing and entitlement metadata is retained while needed to provide access, resolve transactions, meet legal obligations, and prevent abuse. Temporary local export data is removed after use, expiration, browser cleanup, or uninstall. Reasonable technical measures are used to protect the service, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your choices
You may use the Free plan without purchasing Pro. You can cancel a subscription through the subscription-management option associated with your purchase. For privacy questions or requests relating to data controlled by Chat to Office, email support@surveykit.cc.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the Service changes. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
